Bastille

Ingalaterrako musika talde hau 2010an sortu zen. Hasieran Dan Smith solista zen eta geroago talde bat sortu nahi izan zuen, 3 taldekide gehiago gehitzen: Chris Wood, Will Farquarson eta Kyle Simmons. Erabiltzen dituzten musika generoak rock alternatiboa, synth pop eta drag dira. Azken biak nabarmenenak dira ez direlako asko erabiltzen.

Taldearen izena Frantziako festa nazionalan inspiratzen da: 1789 uztailaren 14an Frantziako Iraultza piztu zen eta iraultzaileak Bastilla lortu zuten. Egun horretan gainera Dan Smith-en urtebetetzea da. 

Virgin Records izeneko diskografian sinatu zuten 2011an. Orain arte bakarrik diska bat egin dute: "Bad Blood" , 2013an eta 12 abesti osatuta. Bertan aurki ditzakegu haien abesti famatuenak: "Pompeii", "Laura Palmer", "Oblivion", "Things we lost in the fire"...
